Music  (Rocking to help wildlife and the environment)

On this page you will be able to find out about the music that I write.

The group Raptor was formed a few years ago by a bunch of us, all from different environmental charities, who just enjoyed playing music but didn't have enough spare time to do anything serious.

We started off, as most bands do, by covering other peoples' music, but now play our own; a natural progression as I have been writing my own music for years. 

I try hard to give the sound of Raptor a mixture of styles and influences, but I cannot move away from my rock roots, and in fact I don't want to!  Ballads and soft songs I can write 'till the owls fly home, but a really good, themed rock song is always a great challenge, especially with the critics I have around me!
